About The Healing Narrative
What Is The Healing Narrative?
The Healing Narrative is a trauma-informed, faith-based emotional healing and coaching framework for Christian women, founded by Vicki Diemert.
It exists to help women who love Jesus but feel emotionally numb, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck engage their stories, emotions, and relationships in a way that leads to lasting healing — without bypassing pain, minimizing harm, or abandoning their faith.

Who The Healing Narrative Is For
The Healing Narrative serves Christian women who:
Still attend church but feel emotionally unseen or exhausted
Have tried prayer, Bible study, and serving, yet remain stuck or numb
Were taught to suppress emotions in the name of faith or maturity
Carry wounds from childhood, relationships, or church culture
Feel confused about forgiveness, boundaries, or emotional needs
These women are not broken, weak, or lacking faith.
They are often over-functioning, faithful, and weary — and need a space where faith and emotional honesty can exist together.
What Makes This Work Different?
The Healing Narrative integrates:
-
Trauma-informed emotional understanding
-
Narrative and story-based healing
-
Attachment and relational insight
-
Biblical reflection rooted in the life and character of Jesus
-
Gentle nervous-system awareness
-
Faith without spiritual bypassing
This work does not rush people toward “moving on,” forgiveness, or reconciliation.
Instead, it helps participants name what happened, understand how it shaped them, and experience healing that is both spiritually faithful and emotionally honest.
What the Healing Narrative is-
and is not:
What It Is
-
Trauma-informed, faith-based coaching and healing support
-
Story-focused emotional and relational work
-
A guided process for understanding patterns, wounds, and beliefs
-
A space where emotions are honored rather than dismissed
What It Is Not
-
Not psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment
-
Not biblical counseling that minimizes emotional pain
-
Not a replacement for therapy
-
Not a quick-fix or formulaic program
Participants are encouraged to pursue therapy when needed and to integrate multiple forms of support.
Core Beliefs Behind The Healing Narrative
-
Emotions are not sinful — they are meaningful
-
Jesus consistently engaged people’s stories, pain, and desire
-
Healing requires honesty before it brings relief
-
Forgiveness is not the same as access or reconciliation
-
Boundaries can be faithful and loving
-
God does not rush the healing process
The Mission
The mission of The Healing Narrative is to create safe, honest, faith-honoring spaces where women can:
-
Be seen without being fixed
-
Tell the truth without fear of judgment
-
Understand their emotional and relational patterns
-
Experience healing that honors both their faith and their story
Healing does not come from denial, silence, or pressure.
It comes from being known — and being met with care.
